My Official Recommendations for Equipment

So guys you have come to train with me at Ice Dragon Training and you want to know exactly what it takes to perform at the highest level in this training program. Well this article is for you because I will be going into the recommended equipment for excelling in this program.

If you read a little about my program you should know that there are 7 modules I teach. Each module represents an aspect of training that I deem absolutely important towards blowing through your setbacks and becoming the powerful person you want to be. Some of these modules require certain equipment to be practiced at the highest level.

Ice Bath

It shouldn’t be a surprise but for Ice Dragon Training, you will need access to some ice cold water. Cold showers are good for beginners, but once they become easy you will need to do full body cold immersion to continue to progress. If you have easy access to a nice clean river or lake then you can get your cold exposure there. Or you have access to gym or wellness center that has an ice tub you can get your cold exposure there. However if you don’t, you will need an ice bath.

There are 4 options for ice baths.

1) If you have a bath tub you can fill it up with ice and water. I recommend at least 10 bags of ice to really get it cold.

2) If you do not have a bath tub, you can purchase a cheap Ice Tub that you can put in your backyard or balcony if you have one. Just fill it up with water and put in ice, again recommendation of 10 bags. You can find a link to an ice tub here:

3) Third option is to buy a chest freezer and fill it with water. This is an option for those who have some patience and want to do a little work setting up their tub. The benefit of these is that you do not need to purchase ice whenever you want to take an ice bath, which will save you a lot of money in the long run. You can find a full guide on how to set up a chest freezer ice bath here.

4) Buy a professional grade Cold Plunge. This is the option for someone with resources (this tub costs around 5,000 USD) and also really wants to commit to this training. I have personal purchased this tub from Polar Monkeys, and it works fantastic. It comes with a chiller, a water filter, and all you have to do is set it up once, change the water and clean the tub once every few days and change the filter periodically. You can find a link to the Polar Monkeys Ice Tub here:

This is an absolutely professional grade tub and bonus has very cool artwork which you can see in the link above. Investing money in equipment can psychologically motivate you to train harder and more consistently as you have now invested in it. Just like if you buy a really nice car you will be more inclined to take care of it, if you buy a nice ice tub you will be more inclined to use it and take the training seriously.

Sauna

In addition to cold training, we also do extreme heat training. Contrast training (going back and forth between cold and hot – full guide here) is the most powerful technique on the planet for your health and vitality. You can also choose to separate the cold and the heat (cold in the morning, heat in the evening) and also get great results. Either way, you will need some access to extreme heat.

The best method for heat exposure is using a sauna. Most of you will have access to a gym with a sauna, however if you’d like the complete home set up to combine sauna exposure with Ice Bath you can find a top of the line sauna right here. This goes up to 200 degrees giving you adequate heat stress to activate the heat shock proteins and optimize your cardiovascular system.

Use the code ICEDRAGON to get a discount on the Sauna.

This sauna is extremely affordable compared to other saunas on the market (which can cost 8-10 Thousand USD), is portable, goes to high temperatures and is recommended personally by my friend Wes William, one of the most experienced cold and heat practitioners in the world.

So if you choose to go the route of investing in your own bath and sauna, this sauna right here combined with one of the options for ice bath above will give you everything you need.

Infrared Lamp

For rest and recovery, no piece of equipment is more powerful that an Infrared Lamp. The one I personally recommend and have used myself can be found on Amazon for around 70 dollars. This is one underrated piece of equipment that you will become addicted to.
